Specifications 
Dimensions: seat height 17 1/4"; seat depth 22"; length 51 1/2" – note that these are the standard option, and we can generally supply to your own requirements, often at no extra cost. 
Frame: the framework is made from hollow-section heavy-gauge steel tube and is a fully welded assembly. Supports are equally spaced at maximum 49" centers. The finish is powder coated in a colour of your choice in colour combinations from the full RAL range. 
Slats: slats are produced from sustainable Vermont white ash, 3" x 1 1/4", and finished with a sustainable hard-wearing water-based lacquer. Timber slats are trimmed on site to the exact length to fit the desired space. 
Suitable wall types: can be used against non-solid walls. 
Installation: on installation, the seat and shelf corner slats are mitred on site and steel plates are supplied to support the mitred joints. If shoetrays are required, they stop at the seat supports nearest the corners. 


Additional Options 
Variset VZ1 benches come with the option of shoetrays (Code VZ8-5). These are made from heavy-duty angle frame and .1 inch wire mesh. Other accessories include a security locking system and hanger numbering options.

Our popular Variset VZ7 range comes in three options: the standard VZ7 bench, with a depth of 13"; the wider VZ7-4, with a depth of 17"  and the VZ7-5 bench, which has a depth of 22".  One reason for choosing this wider bench is that it is often more user friendly for those people who have a disability. 

Architects can specify our wider bench alongside our narrower Variset benches to get the most appropriate seating design in a changing room. This allows seating to be maximised where space is tight, while still ensuring the facilities are accessible to everyone. 

Benches can be matched with coordinating matching hooks from the Variset range to provide hanging space. The hooks come with spacers and backplates, all made from extruded aluminium, to give a neat and strong finish. Multiple hooks and spacers slide onto one backplate, and the spacing can be varied.
